We offer business training and business management workshops throughout the Bay of Plenty region in conjunction with the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce.

 

HOW TO DEVELOP AN EFFECTIVE GROWTH STRATEGY (FULL DAY)
31 August 2010 (9.00am - 4.30pm)

This workshop will help participants develop and implement their own effective strategy for growth and significant changes in their organisation. They will learn how to identify key market opportunities, prioritise the best opportunities, explore the state of the market and their business objectives and capabilities. They will understand how to translate market and economic implications into growth opportunities and will leave the workshop armed with techniques to evaluate different strategies for growth, and tactics to develop and implement an effective growth strategy.

Transitions to Leadership and Management (full day)

14 September 2010 (9.00am - 4.30pm)

Moving into Management for the first time can be daunting. This practical workshop will give new Managers the skills they need to 'step up' to being highly effective in their new role. It will cover the core management skills needed to become a successful Manager and Leader. This workshop is part of BDO's Leadership and development programme which includes pre workshop preparation, a full day workshop plus follow up coaching by internet, phone or email to support implementation of action plans completed during the workshop.

 

HOW TO DO EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE APPRAISALS (FULL DAY)
23 September 2010 (9.00am - 4.30pm)

To achieve results, individuals and teams need to know what is expected of them, and what good performance looks like. Evaluating accomplishment, creating track record for career planning and a basis to develop clear goals and objectives for the future.
